I don't think he is.  Looks like something that the cable guy uses to put in
a trench!

No, Lehman uses an STX long wand.  Rocco Mediate is using a 2-ball putter.
And though I didn't see as many this week as I've seen in the past, there
are quite a few PGA TOUR players who use it.  Fred Funk, for one.  There are
others...

Really? That's a funny looking 2 ball putter. STX should sue Callaway!

Quite popular on the European Tour - Padraig Harrington for one

Nope... Lehman is using an STX Sync 3 (with what appears to be a
prototype insert).

Although there has been a rash of them they do seem to be gradually
dissappearing.....I see quite a few players who originally turned to them have
now reverted to their favourites.

I think they might have just too much polar inertia....a feature that initially
attracts a player but that takes too much control out of the player's hands. All
the one's I've tried seem to be far too heavy as well!

An old guy came into the clubhouse the other day with a godawful looking 2-ball
copy.  It only mildly resembled the original two-ball putter and it wasn't even
close to being face-balanced.  In fact, the damn thing fell about 45 degrees
open if you set it down behind the ball and let go of it.
A real piece of crap!

However, most of the old guys wanted one since it only cost the guy $19.
This is what the equipment industry has done to the buying public.  Quality
isn't an issue anymore.  People want something that "looks" like something
expensive.  I'm surprised some of these fools aren't driving Ford Escorts with
little Lexus emblems on the front of them to fool the neighbors.

I went the other way, I was afraid I would get tickets with my Bradley GT, so I
took off its body and put on the body of a VW Beatle as a disguise.

I think some of them are..........

But in all seriousness, let's ask why the equipment manufacturers are charging
the prices they are for the products today.  They're as much at fualt for the
cheap look a like stuff as those that have purchased it. I'd also point you
towards you're nearest supermarket chain.  How many non brand name look alike
products are on their shelves......??   Why.......??
