If you have a good reason to go with them, be warned of the following in
choosing a flex:
Most catalogs suggest that "R" is the 5.5 and "S" is the 6.5. If you
believe this, you'll wind up with telephone poles instead of shafts. The
Rifles play anywhere from a half flex to a full flex stiffer than these
"nominal" flexes, so order your shaft accordingly.
Hope this helps.

I recently reshafted my Cobra Tour Irons with a 6.0 Rifle shaft. Since I
went 1 inch over standard I was a little afraid to going too soft since
I've always played stiff shafts.
The clubs had Apollo stiff shafts in them which I could never get
comfortable with. It was kind of like hitting a concrete block with a
2x4.
I am very happy with the Rifles. Less or no vibration on offcenter hits
and I got back 5 or 6 yards in distance and hit the ball higher.
I think the key here is "Quality". Thats what you pay for in the more
expensive shafts and ususally what you get. The results may have no
effect on your score but atleast you are comfortable with the club in
your hands.
