Chrome or raw finish? It doesn't say what the finish is and Titleist
discontinued raw which has been sold off cheap all over the net.

Chrome, brand new...I just called them to verify. Btw, few people know about
Fiddler's Green in Oregon but I buy alot of stuff from them after extensive
searches for the lowest price on whatever I'm after. All the regular
disclaimers about I'm not associated with..blah, blah, blah...

I just picked up the new oil can finish sand wedge 56* with 10* bounce for $90,
wish i woulda bought the gap wedge for the same price. Some place had them at
the golf show. Sweet clubs, but harder to clean the clubface after hitting just
a few range balls, this suppose to give better spin?

I have a set of 4 Vokey oil can finish wedges. It's the rust deposits that
aid in giving the ball it's spin. Don't clean 'em, let them rust up a bit
and see the ball dance :)

Oil can or raw? The oil can finish is new replacing the raw in that they no
longer offer raw. Per Titleist "the Oil Can finish will wear resulting in a
raw wedge." Have you actually hit four wedges enough to wear the oilcan
finish enough so that they have rusted?

I have a chrome 52* and raw 56* Vokeys and can't tell the difference. The
raw sandwedge is depressing. Seeing the shiny flange means you are having a
bad day in the bunkers.

the oil can finish wears off very quickly from the surfaces that hit the
ball and the ground and in my climate (NorCal beachfront) the rust comes
rapidly! FWIW, I love my Vokey's around the greens but couldn't hit a
consistent full shot with them. I figured out it was because they had
standard length shafts and all of my other clubs are +1, so my Vokey's are
in being reshafted. I'm looking forward to getting them back! Oh, and I'm a
really good sandplayer...cause I LOVE to hit out of bunkers, and sometimes
hit shots into them because I have more confidence getting up and down from
the sand than from a squirrely grass lie. It's all in the mind!

This price is only for the chromes. The oil-cans are still $100-$110. I
want to try the new Fe2O3 RAC wedges from Taylor Made.
