VW on-a-stick; UPS vs USPS

VW on-a-stick; UPS vs USPS

Post by Frostbac » Mon, 30 Jul 2001 07:26:52

I ordered the VW from Tour products (now Mars Golf, I understand) but
still in the Columbus Ohio area. The same day, just after ordering the
VW, I ordered the stick from Golfworks (also in the Columbus, OH area).
Both items were in stock. Golfworks said they would pick the stick the
next day. I get my Golfworks stuff sent USPS. The stick came in this
morning while I was embarassing myself on a golf course. I ordered a
Pegg putter the day before, which was not ready to ship, but I assume
was shipped UPS two days later. One item shipped USPS is here. Two items
shipped UPS are out in UPS land.

VW on-a-stick; UPS vs USPS

If given the choice, I use USPS every time.  I've had enough of the UPS
misroutings and missed deliveries.  One time, the sender had misspelled
my Deborah Ct. address as Peborah Ct.  They couldn't figure it out,
despite the fact that there aren't any Peborah anythings here, and it
would have taken just a moment to look my name up in the phone book and
see where I really lived.

Frankly, in my experience, USPS Priority Mail will do as well or better
than UPS almost every time.

Mike

PS:  Don't use the UPS tracking service unless you just want to get your
*** pressure up.
