The Hippo wedges that I had had a very low bounce. I think even the sand
wedge only had about 10* of bounce. The 60* lob wedge, I believe, only has
3* of bounce. My understanding is that low bounce clubs do not make good
sand wedges, but I just read in a Golf Digest that pros now a days are using
the lob wedge for sand and set it up differently than you would a
traditional sand wedge. I haven't practiced sand shots this way yet.
The Hippo wedges I had were the gun metal wedges and they were pretty good
