More of the "big baby's" thoughts about distracting crowds

Tiger's Wednesday interview gives a much better perspective on
what the Chicago crowds were up to.  Speaks for itself.

More of the "big baby's" thoughts about distracting crowds

Attended the last Tour Championship held at Southern Hills. Had the
misfortune of meeting the jerk
who travels to all of the PGA Tourneys and yells "GetInTheHole" or
"YouDaMan" (usually before   the ball is struck) then he looks proudly
around to see if anyone heard him. This same individual
also carries an assortment of pagers and cell phones to assure the
maximum level of distraction.
Following a tell-tale trail of hot dog wrappers, beer cups, and cigar
butts I could hear (before I saw
him) heckling a player addressing his ball or advising that the wrong
club was being used. This same
World Wrestling Federation reject would then appear genuinly distressed
that a caddy or a marshal would politely suggest that he behave. After
all, he had a lot of time and money invested and he had clients or a
girlfriend to impress. Tigers comments strike at something deeper than
the behavior
of one gallery at one tournament. His comments speak to the slow erosion
of the honor, dignity,
decorum that once was the game of golf. I hope that in our e***ment
for "e***ment" we don't
harm the reputation of the very game that has held these qualities so
dear.
