"Noodle" vs. "Laddie"

Greetings:

While I plan to try both balls, I was wondering if anyone might be willing
to share their thoughts on the Maxfli "Noodle" and the Precept "Laddie" golf
balls?

Thanks!

They, and the "Lady" are very similar and all great balls.  I'm no
expert but if I had to make a distinction:

Noodle: softest
Lady: next softest
Laddie: next softest (I think the Laddie is just a Lady with a
slightly harder cover).

They are all soft and, when hit on the screws, you can feel the
ball compress.

"Noodle" vs. "Laddie"

Within the last few days I read an article someplace on the net which reviewed
the Noodle. The reviewer indicated the ball was pretty long and soft (surprise),
but didn't hold the green well. Of course, some time last month I went out and
bought a dozen Noodles. Guess I'll find out how it plays.

How about the Noodle compared against:
- Strata Professional 90
- Nike Tour Accuracy
- Titleist Pro V1

I've been playing Stratas until 2 weeks ago when a friend gave me some Nike
Accuracy's which I immediately fell in love with. Unfortunately, I just got
a load of Stratas for my birthday...

Finally, someone else that tried the Nike and found it to be a great ball. I
questioned the group also and received no reply's.

Thanks Rick for the idea. Seems to me that they shouldn't object to a simple
product exchange.

Or if you play like me, use your Stratas on the front 9.  If I still have
some left, continue with the back nine until they are all used up.

Harlan,  I have been playing the noodle of late.  I think stopping the ball
on the green has to do with spin and swing speed.  I can stop the ball fine
and spin it back if needed.

Laddie is a lady with long pants on...  As for the Noodle, it's great.
I've been playing it for a month now.  I can stop it on the green and it
putts well and is long of the tee.  I think of it's a less expensive
version of a PROV1, course the PROV1 putts better.

There is hope! Maybe I won't take them back and trade them in for a dozen
Laddies afterall!

"Noodle" vs. "Laddie"

Why compare $20/dozen balls to $40+/dozen balls?  For most, if not all,
people on RSG, you will not score any lower with the more expensive balls.
