I have a chart somewhere back home that I cut out of a tennis magazine
years ago.
It showed Borgs win streaks vs the rest of the top ten.
At one point he was 72-0 vs the rest of the top ten.

What is Fed's streak now?
I know he has won the last two against #2 Nadal.
Anyone know the rest of the numbers?

Are you sure? Roger Federer has already beaten Bjorn Borg's winning
streak on grass. Isn't grass play what Bjorn Borg was most famous
for?

Fed's grass streak includes 4 Gerry Weber Opens. The real grass treak is 41
in a row at Wimbledon.

This is correct. Federer needs 14 more in a row at W to break it. That
would give him 6 wins in a row at W.

This just goes to show how great Borg was.

If he can do it well that would seal the deal on his being goat IMHO.

Of course we already know the date he will do it (if he can). That
will be Winbledon final Sunday 2008.

He has 9 slams now and will surely win 3-5 more before then making W
2008 the 13th, 14th or 15th possibly. If it were the 15th, that would
be fantastic ! Beating Pete's record with a 5th W in a row would top
everything else in tennis than came before it.

Even if it were the 14th it would be spectacular and if he tied Pete's
14 with a 6th W in a row well he's goat !

And, ever if it was the 13th he still would be although Whisper might
still remain as stubborn as a jackass.

Sorry, I guess I was not clear.
Fed has a 2 match win-streak vs #2 Nadal.
#3 Davydenko -8 Match win streak
#4 Blake -       6 Matches
#5 Ljubicic -    8 Matches
#6 Roddick -   8 Matches
#7 Robredo -   6 Matches
#8 Nalbandian - 4 Matches
#9 Ancic, Mario  4 Matches
#10 Gonzalez, Fernando   9 Matches

So, if I can add right, it seems like:
Fed is 55-0 vs the rest of the top 10.
Not quite Borg's 72 win streak.

I hope this makes sense now.
