USA and my CBS Network (SAN ANTONIO)--What the hell happened?

Ok, now I know that I have been watching the US Open for about 12 years
now...and I certainly, absolutely, positively always remember USA going OVER
their allotted coverage time to show matches...as long as they were in progress
of one, they finished it out, and I always admired them for that. NOT so this
year, and I have to say it really irks me, like tonight the Haas-Arazi match
which went right back on the second they left the air. Guess when you get used
to a good thing and then it turns to a bad thing you get mad. Now I love La
Femme Nikita (Peta Wilson) more than the average guy here but I got to tell
you, she can wait when it comes to good tennis. But, apparently USA doesn't
think so. I'm pissed. That's just PART 1.

On another note...KENS 5 the CBS affiliate here in San Antonio where I live,
DOES NOT show the CBS highlight show. AT ALL. Which means if any match were to
run long from USA (which isn't happening anyway) ...CBS wouldn't pick it up
here in San Antonio because YOU HAVE TO ***ING HAVE THE HIGHLIGHT SHOW. You
throw in this bullshit also about them JOINING MATCHES IN PROGRESS an hour and
a half after they start this weekend (always for me before was 10 am CST when I
lived in Austin, now 12 pm now that I live in SA) and you've got one pissed off
Texan. They plan on doing this for Super Saturday as well. I am boiling over
right now at this shabby treatment. The NBC affiliate DIDN'T EVEN SHOW THE
FRENCH OPEN FINALl here, they showed some Miracle Kids Network telethon for
like 18 hours. Hey, I'm all for kids being helped, but I think they can spare
three and a half hours when the ***ing French final is on, especially at 7 am
when no one is going to pledging anything except their head to the pillow. We
didn't even get a 2 am replay or an apology. So *** you NBC in San Antonio!!!
And this CBS bullshit, the US OPEN IS THE RICHEST SPORTING EVENT IN THE
WORLD....and they're showing ***ing JACK HANNA's Animal Planet when matches
are going on I should be seeing if I lived 70 miles down the road in Austin
(like I used to when I went to college).
Now I know San Antonio isn't exactly the tennis capital of the world here but
DAMN I have never in my life seen a town that treats tennis so poorly
television-wise. Can I get a hell yeah????

Jeff (the Angry Texan)
"I can't be having these feelings for you if I'm trying to take over the
world."
"God put me on this Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now
I'm so far behind
I'll never die."

This has been bothering me as well.  They only go over if an
American player is involved, but the Haas/Arazi match, at
least through the first two sets, looked to be entertaining
tennis.  As I'm not a "La Femme Nikita" fan (the movie was
great, but Peta Wilson scares me) I too would have liked to
watch a little more tennis.

Well, KCBS in Los Angeles (which pre-empted the last hour of
the CBS morning show to broadcast the Open live this
morning) took a half hour break after the Seles match to air
local news.  I know it was a break allowed for by the
network, but c'mon....the local network affiliates show
about five hours of news a day, anyway.  Did we really need
another half hour?  Was there some car chase going on that
we had to watch?  (But this is more a personal
dissatisfaction with the local affiliates self-love, and
need to pre-empt everything to show non news-events.)
