U.S. Open: USA Network Television Coverage Sucks!

USA and the others covering the Open need to lose the court-level
("artsy"?) shots; can't discern or judge ball directions,
trajectories, and locations.

Also, the scores are posted late.

And the mostly useless ball location pattern charts remain on-screen
too long.

Thats cos they are not the beeb. :)

About the only thing the BBC has going for it this weather....leading sports
coverage. Not worth the license fee though!

But their documentaries are quite good. I ***ing loved Blue Planet.

Lol. Agreed...it was pretty special.

So, sports coverage...nature docs...the occasional drama series (ie. the
*awesome* Murphys Law et al). Maybe I 'should' stump up the 150 ($280)
license fee. Nahhhhh. :)

I love the court-level shots. It gives you a far better idea of spin
and pace. Yeah, depth is obviously more difficult, but it's definitely
a nice change from the normal perspective in my opinion.

For a point or two, maybe. I wouldn't like it as a general thing.
