We were saying that about Gonzo last year, then he got humiliated.

Somehow this seems so different to me. I think this guy is for real
and will continue to be.

That game he just played to break at 4-3 was amazing, though.

Yes, it was a superb game. He certainly didn't leave much to chance when
serving it out either. Nadal seems to be a little short of firepower on HC
still.

He's younger than Gonzales, so the concept of failure hasn't really
entered his soul yet. At his age the possibilities seem endless, so
there is less*** on any match.

BTW weren't you watching tennis in July 2003, Sept 2004,....?? :-)

Fed is not going to give him high bouncing balls to clobber.

relate it.

vast difference between gonzo or baggy and tsonga. serve, volleying
skills, power, all combined with a decent baseline game. i think he is
for real, if his head is srewed on right.

If he serves like that against Fed Fed is in some trouble. The main
difference with Fed is that Fed is not going to give him big bouncy
high balls which aren't even close to the line to clobber.

yup, i think he will find fed more of a match-up problem. fed is
taller and will get back more returns, and fed's game has more bite
than nadal's on HC.

but, first fed has to get past djok. that is not a given. fed's form
is very patchy at the moment.

Fed is the world's best server. Tsonga vs Fed would be interesting
if Fed does indeed beat Djoker.

Federer's the same height as Nadal.

Tsonga is easily 6'3"+ had at least 2" on Courier.
