Top 10 heavy metal albums of the 80s

1. Slayer - Reign In ***
2. AC/DC - Back in Black
3. Kreator - Pleasure to Kill
4. Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction
5. Motorhead - No Sleep Till Hammersmith [LIVE]
6. Sodom - Persecution Mania
7. Iron Maiden - Live After Death [LIVE]
8. Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath
9. Judas Priest - Screaming For Vengeance
10. Rush - Exit... Stage Left [LIVE]

Sorry, but no Metallica or Megadeth on this list. Megadeth's best
album was Rust in Peach (1990). And Metallica's two best albums - Ride
The Lightning and Master of Puppets narrowly miss this list.

It's a sure giveaway that a person is a paki when they can't stop doing this.

It is what exposed Raja to me as being a paki.

You watch, even now that he knows he won't be able to stop. He can't.

Only pakis are lidat.

Metal top 10. In random-ish order. Also I selected a nice track from
each album. Which you, Raja, should also be doing with your music lists.

Dio - Holy Diver
http://SportToday.org/

Dio - Intermission
http://SportToday.org/

Dio - Last in Line
http://SportToday.org/

Rainbow - Bent Out of Shape
http://SportToday.org/

King Diamond - Abigail
http://SportToday.org/

AC/DC - Back in Black
http://SportToday.org/

Yngwie Malms*** - Trilogy
http://SportToday.org/

Yngwie - Odyssey
http://SportToday.org/

Whitesnake - Whitesnake
http://SportToday.org/

Whitesnake - Slide it in
http://SportToday.org/

Well, you asked for it. Notice that KIng Diamond's Abigail is thus
special that songs in the album form a story.

1) Accept: Restless & Wild.
2) Accept: Metal heart
3) Accept: Balls to the Walls.
..

;)

OK. My Non-accept list of 80:ies metal albums....

1) Black Sabbath: Headless Cross.
2) Blue Oyster Cult: Imaginos.
3) M?t?rhead: Another Perfect Day.
4) Metallica: Justice for All (horrible sound mix though).
5) Black Sabbath: Heaven & Hell
6) Slayer: South of Heaven (this could be even #1 when I think about
it more).
7) Mercyful Fate: Don't Break the Oath.
8) Deep Purple: Perfect Strangers
9) Black Sabbath: Mob rules.
10) Helloween: Keeper of the seven keys #1 (I think I'd chosen Gamma
Ray's Heading for Tomorrow for this slot but I checked and it was
published feb 1990....).

Strangely I have never been any special fan of Back in Black
eventhough I really like AC/DC. Also according all the specs I should
like Judas Priest/Iron Maiden more than I actually do...(I also only
recently have started to like more and more Ozzy's solo career). Dio's
solo albums lack consistency for me. Always some great songs but then
a lot of chaff included in the mix.

Heaven & Hell is pretty good pick.

I personally can't listen to Black Sabbath because they're mean to
animals.

The Nordic countries are big into death metal (Opeth) and black metal
(Ulver). How come you are not into it?

What do you think of Black metal? Have you heard Ulver's Bergtatt
album? I was listening to it today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2Qrz1dH6jc

Death, Opeth and Ulver seem to be the highest rated extreme metal
bands from the 90s
