This part concerns itself with the five most
significant active singles players: Davenport,
Hingis, Seles, Serena Williams, Venus Williams.
"Ins" and "Outs" refers to the events they
have won. For example, Hingis never won
the Grand Slam Cup. So, for this non-WTA
event, Hingis is an "out." Or take the Olympics:
Venus and Davenport have won it. Hingis, Seles,
Serena have not. So the answer to the
question "Olympics -- In" would be "Davenport,
Venus"; the answer to "Olympics -- Out" would
be "Hingis, Seles, Serena."
All questions are 2 points, no matter how
many players fit the description, and there
is no partial credit.
A general hint: I will pick "interesting"
answers. E.g. I would not choose "Olympics --
Out" because there are three players who
fit the description and no link between them.
The tournaments are listed in calendar order.
Certain questions have BONUSES by them. These
events have some special significance PERTAINING
TO WHICH OF THESE FIVE PLAYERS HAS WON. You just
have to guess the significance, but if you can,
you will probably know you're right -- and
will get 5 points for it.
If you come up with another bonus answer I
like just as well, you'll get points for that,
too.
