Federer had to wait until Agassi/Sampras/Hewitt/everyone else retired to win a slam

Post by Iceber » Wed, 16 Feb 2011 21:01:59

Federer didn't win a slam until 2003, he wasn't allowed a slam in his
***s. Essentially he was made to wait until Agassi/Sampras/Hewitt/
Safin/Henman/everyone else half-decent pretty much retired (lack of
motivation/age/chicks/marriage/injury/lack-of-interest) to win a slam.
I would say 'discuss', but can't see any arguments with that really
and am sure everyone agrees.

usual suspects)

How many slams did Hewitt/Safin/Henman win amongst them. Sampras and
Agassi are 90s players. So can't be considered his peers.

PS: How can anyone find this buffoon funny?

this one wasn't meant to be funny. You can't dispute the point, Fed
was made to wait.

Hewitt started dating her wife in Jan 2005 so he was pretty much
married in 2003....

Blake, Gonzo and Tsonga were clowns of Federer's era beat him in slams
so much for nobody stopped him
winning a slam. List goes on Murray, Soderling, Del P,  Ferrer and
Youzhny.
