Fed Mails it in today

Even in a routine 3 setter: Feds slapping at the ball today...
forehands flying long... 5 (last count) double faults... no volley
touch today at all... and looks like he wants to be on a beach
somewhere...

Notable Bright Spot: Feds DID return well today... his one positive
besides getting the result...

MrKehoe - you big drama queen ;) .....can we not do the whole over-analysing
a comfortable 3 set victory in round one as "looking like he wants to be on
a beach somewhere". He has made it clear that he has prepared well for this
part of the season....otherwise.... I guess he would be on a beach
somewhere. :)

Fwiw....seemed like a normal first round Fed match to me...through in
comfort....plenty of genius....plenty of mistimes and errors. As ever for
the top guys....the refining starts here....round by round.

Well, it is not like Federer has to be in full throttle to beat a guy
like Kamke. Federer probably took a few short naps.

Fed walked along the beach, kicked sand in Kamke's face and ambled
toward the nearest kabana for a refreshing drink with Mirka and Paul
and Severn... that's what he looked like because that's all he needed
to do... To me, Fed was - understandably - in ultra save energy mode
today...
