Empty ball cans?

I've got a basket full of balls, and am sick of tossing the cans in the
trash.

What creative or useful thing to do with them?

how about giving them to kindergartens for art projects? (or for storing
crayons, etc. ... I bet they could come up w/ lots of things to use them
for)

Do you have recycling in your area?

In the days before everyone gave away water bottles, tennis ball cans
would be filled with water and used as water bottles. You had to wash
them out carefully but once you did that they were fine to use as water
bottles during a match.

They are great water-retainers, so convert them into pretty vases for
flowers.  You could spray them gold, silver or other metallic colours.

If you don't trust the seal, just stick to dry flowers, but still spice
them up with some colours.  A can of spray paint would enable you to do
about 30 cans I'm sure.  Regular car-spray paint.  Then you could
always give them away as other posters describe, but this way they look
much cuter.

Or one could use them outdoors to protect young trees and etc., from rabbits and
weed eaters.

THe cans are good for scooping up things. If you have bird seed you can
scoop up the seeds with the can. If you have a small garden you can
scoop up dirt with the can.

Huey, That was what I was thinking.  Raptor has too much time on his
hands.  Make potato guns out of them.
