09. 04. 2013.
"The world s top player has undergone an MRI examination this morning
which revealed no structural damage to the joint capsule and ligaments.
A joint structures strain requires therapy and strict rest in the
following days.
Depending on the recovery, a decision will be made on Nole s
participation at the upcoming tournament in Monte Carlo."

So no ligaments were injured. Looks like a mild case of Monte Excusitis.

No way Nole, you can not skip your scheduled beating at MC centre court!

"After seeing the results of all the tests we did, i am really positive
and strong. I'm doing the best i can with my team to recover fast and be
ready for the upcoming tournaments. I am grateful to have so many of you
worrying for me and sending me words of support. Thank you! This is me

The whole thing was ridiculous. But now he has a ready-made excuse
when he gets breadsticked twice by Nadal on Sunday.

Sounds good. I still think he should skip Monte Carlo, and focus on
the more important events.

Another excuse for this year? Last year it was grandfather and weather.

But I'm sure Nole would beat Rafa at MC if he just was 100%... after all
he's done it so many times and Rafa is not so tough to beat there at all...

How many consecutive MC titles for Rafa? 10?

That's what Fed is doing... focusing on Madrid, the most prestigious
blue clay tournament of them all.

Tennis is a sport, and that can sometimes mean a participant can get/suffer injury, marginally, significantly, threateningly or catastrophically... there are any number of bodily issues/maladies that can befall an athlete, especially a world class athlete... sometimes you come off sounding like a person whose cynical to the point of being toally dismissive...

Except that Nole and Rafa complained sufficiently last year about that darned blue clay (they couldn't manage to keep their balance on it) they changed it back...

Funny to think back, Murray didn't even bother going, he was so intimidated at the very 'thought' of a different surface treatement...

I guess Fed has the most adaptive style, best balance among the top guys; he just got on with things instead of threatening to boycott - THAT was a classic, their threats to not come back unless they changed it back to red clay...

Understandable, they were just trying to protect their best interests...

Neither could Fed btw. Also didn't he complain about his back post Madrid...

You would be less lyrical about it had Fed sprained his ankle. The way I
see it it was Fed who was protecting  his own interests - by truly
shamelessly not joining the protest.

But back to prestige...

But back to topic... Which one do you think is a better actor, Daniel
Day Lewis or Novak Djokovic?

I wouldn't recommend focusing on Madrid either.
