Davis Cup Final, Fromberg Injured?

According to the BBC, Australian player Richard Fromberg injured
himself during practice and is questionable for the Davis Cup
final beginning on Friday. In case Fromberg cannot play, that
would be very bad luck for the Australians.

The Davis Cup final will be played on indoor red clay in Dusseldorf,
Germany. Fromberg is the only clay-court player on the Australian
team. Wally Masur will be the other singles player. Stich and
Goellner will represent Germany in singles.

Again, there is no TV coverage for this event in the US. :-(

Fromberg is going to play for Australia in the Davis Cup Final against
Germany as he was cleared last night for an injury he suffered while
practicing.

Wally Masur has been cut in the team after Jason Stoltenberg beat him
convincingly during practice.  Jason Stoltenberg will be the second single
player for the Australian team.  While Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge
will represent Australia as a double partner...
