Wanted to Buy in NYC area: basic board & sail

Post by Karl Fredrickso » Mon, 06 Feb 1995 06:17:20

I would like to buy a board, mast, sail to take a step beyond
the antique, clumsy  rig  (11 feet, 5.5 sail) I "learned" on
last summer.

If anyone in this area (I'm up the Hudson near Nyack) has
something of an intermediate nature (not a short board, yet) to
sell that is five years old or less, I love to hear from you.

I'm sure somebody around here is dying to move up to that
latest '95 model....

I have a (used but in very good condition) Tiga Swallow, a durable ABS
entry-level board about 12' and 220 liters of volume.  Complete with foot-
straps and the standard fin, mast base and extension, Neil Pryde 6.0 RAF
sail, Neil Pryde booms and a 1-pc. epoxy mast.  $400 takes it all, and I'm
right up the Northway in Saratoga Springs.

I Have a 1993 BIC Samba (10'6") that displaces about 160 liters that I am
interested in selling.  It has a BIC Boom and a 6.0 UP Speed Slalom sail
in good condition and the standard fin.  Everything works, and it is
plenty of volume if you are less than 190 pounds.  I live in central NJ.
not too far from you.  Let me know if you are interested.
