Hello,
I just moved to the bay area (Mountain View), and would like
to learn Windsurfing. I know of the place on Shoreline, and i know
that they teach you too.. but i find $130 a bit too expensive.

$130 Does seem a bit expensive. You can check Cal Adventures at the Berkeley
Marina they do 2 Saturday mornings, and I believe the price is around $80.
This includes 8 hours of instruction (beginner, they also have more advanced
classes), equipment, and a wet suit. They should be in the phone book, or you
can drive down to the Berkeley Marina (yep in Berkeley) to check it out.
