Tides' Precessing: Fixed Amount?

Tides' Precessing: Fixed Amount?

Looking at today's tides a local spot looks like about 44 minutes. i.e. If
today's high is at noon, tomorrow's will be at 12:44.

Does the time of high tide slip by a fixed amount every day, or does the amount
of slippage change throughout the year?

  Changes.
Extremes usually take longer, while barely any movement can be sooner.
