Someone broke into my shop and took lots of windsurfing equipment
yesterday or last night. I'm making a list of all the items that are
missing. Also missing are backcountry ski equipment, new mountain
bike, and kite boarding equipment.

If anyone sees any of my Northwave Trilite sails on the market....let
me know. Will post a list of stuff missing with pics soon.

That sucks! It really pisses me off when some deadbeat is to lazy to

Here's hoping you recover all of your goods. Robbery, it's expensive, and
it feels invasive.
One of those things that really frosts me. Will be looking for anything on
the upcoming list.
If you need some spare gear to ride meantime, let me know. I'll figure a
way to get you some
of mine.

Well, this was clearly a senseless act. Fact, I know who did it.
These people came up here and applied to rent my house, needed a
place to live right away. I denied them because of their bad rental
history and drug problems.

Skamania County Sheriffs office just informed me that there has been
warrants for their arrest for quite some time.

The woman is a kiteboarding chick.... she's well known around the
Gorge.... name is Wendy Pappiatt. She's short, brown hair, ring in
her eye brow. She's traveling with her boyfriend who also has a
warrant for his arrest his name is Justin Carter.... tall, clean
cut, speaks with a southern drawl.

If you see these folks.... call the police.

I lost 4 board off of my van one night about 6 years ago. I know who
was behind it but I could never prove it. Oh well.

Yeah.... worthless to most anyone else, priceless to me because they
don't make 'em anymore!!

Fact is, I've been sailing my Trilites all week in 50+ insane winds....
completely relaxed for more than hours and hours on Monday (ask anyone
who was there). Nothing like trilites on an Open Ocean board. But hey,
I wouldn't recommend 'em to anyone else..... not enough "range" cuz
they're made just for us old farts (??). Go ahead, spend tons and tons
of money on new stuff..... I'll find another quiver of these trilites
for the price of 1 of those newer sails.

I'm down to my last TriLite, a 4.2. 'Cause I live in the Midwest, I
don't get that much time on it; that's why it's lasted so long. It's
one of those sails that just keeps on giving; a classic. When it's
gone, I'll be sad.

Yep, there's certainly a sentimental value. I've been through so much
with those sails..... really feeling a great loss here.

there is only one consolation to this tragedy, the fact that you live
in the gorge,
here the lakes are frozen its gusting up to 40 mph and snowing..
skiing soon, yup, but id rather be windsurfing
but i digress,

Gives me some solace to know that there is no market for the things
he/she/it stole. Indeed, if you look at the list of stuff stolen....
totally worthless to 99.9% of the earth's population. Perhaps the mtn.
bike could be sold, but who in their right mind would buy a used mtn.
bike in the NW in November/ December? The telemark ski stuff is
especially specialized.... size / weight specific. Very, very hard to
sell that shit.

We are so very fortunate that windsurfing is such a small sport and
very specialized. We are a very small community..... family... that's
what I'm most thankful about in this sport.
