Good Customer Service-Gul

Along the lines of the customer service post, I thought I would put in a
good word for Gul Wetsuits.  I had a Gul 5-4-3 steamer that I used for
about 6 years before the neoprene on the shoulders wore throught to the
inner liner.  No other problems with the suit at all .

When the shoulders wore out last year, I replaced it with a Body Glove 4-
3 Velocity.  In less than one year of use, the Body Glove ripped apart at
the seams from the waist up to the arm and the entire arm under my
shoulder, just from taking the suit off.  I sent it to the shop who is
sending it back to them, so their customer service remains to be seen.
However, the Body Glove sure does make me appreciate my old Gul suit.  I
glued some *** patches over the shoulders and am putting it back into
service for its 7th season (I think-I've lost count) until the Body Glove
comes back.  And it is a very warm suit.

I have no connection to Gul, just appreciate their work.

I just had to endorse these comments about Gul suits. I've used a Gul
winter steamer for more years than I can remember and its just now
decided to split through due to gross misuse and being clean worn out.
Its been really warm and comfortable in all year round windsurfing. I
shall still patch it up as a spare. (no connection to Gul except they're
made in my County of Cornwall UK)
