Best High Wind Slalom Board

Re:"downside:Yugo dependability"

I'll never forget the day I tested that concave-railed AHD. One tester put his
foot right through the deck its first day on the water ... in front of the left
footstrap ... with his toes. When my magazine description of it included the
term "fragile purebred", the owner of AHD threatened the magazine and pulled
his ads.

Guess who that hurt most? Wasn't long before he began manufacturing them
overseas.

That board was FAST, and went upwind like a cog-driven railroad train -- a
bullet train. But, man, did it require major cajones in the chop, where it
snagged every piece in sight. I salute Charlie for mastering that ride!

For the over 210 lb sailor the Fanatic Mega Jag has to be the
fastest High wind production board out there.  Fat enough to
handle a 6.0 or 5.5 when the little 170 lb sailors are on their
5.0's and 4.5's, yet narrow enough to be ultra fast.
