I'm thinking of buying a Speed Slalom 5.8m sail by The Gun Sails.
Does anyone out there have any recommendations or gripes about them.
They seem much cheaper than other sails of a similar size.

Hi

I quite like The Gun Sails. I have a 3.7 m2 EuroWave ( 3 years old ) and it is my
favorite and most used Sail. A friend got the new MegaRace 5.2 m2 and is quite
happy with it.

The only problem we had with these Sails is that they are delivered without any
sail t*** info's and that it takes some time to find the right trimm.

Cheers

Karl

Hi Peter,

I got myself a Speed Slalom 4.6 at the HanseBoot fair here in Hamburg last
october (for still cheaper than the usual price :-)) ), and it's a great sail!

I can only recommend it.

I have a7.4 Gunn,Speed Slalom with the  loose leach.  The sail is exceptionally
well constructed, the tubular battens are tough to tighten when new without
pliars.  I like it very much and it can take the wind.  I have not been
overpowered by it or catapulted.  Usually I come in and get a smaller board and
go out again...  Buy one, there cheap but good...George
