"line drive" wave board (comments?)

greetings
i'm about to buy a small wave board.  "line drive" brand wave board has
been offered at $250.  anyone heard of this one?  it's supposed to be 8'6"
(~260cm), poly, built on clark blank, winger pin tail.  is it worth trying?
(buying for small wave board experience).  keep in mind, with local
conditions (here in new jersey) i won't get to sail a small board all that
often (but will of course go to hatteras with it!).

options:  mistral  stinger  ~$400  8'6"?  88 ltrs?  circa 91 used
          mistral  ecstacy  ~$725  8'4"   85 ltrs   93 blemished left-over
          bic      hip-hop  ~$625  8'4"   83 ltrs   94 new on sale
your suggestions...?

for reference: i'm 5'4" (162.6cm) 145lbs (65.9kgs), have decent carved
gybe, mostly sailed slalom, but now interested in more wave sailing.  have
sailed small (dill 8'4" w/ 2.8m^2 [thx paul!] which is close to true sinker
for me).  presently: mistral shreader & screamer; north infinity 4.3 - 6.4

I presently sail a Mistral shreader as my long board an F2 sunset slalom
270 and a 250 Lightwave which is too small and am replacing with a Fanatic
Gechko (not sure on the spelling) but its an excellent board at 265 about
85 litres and wave slalom so it will pribably replace the sunset as well.
check it out as its a new generation board and your pesent options are a
little dated.

Good luck, Good wind

Slart
