Again another report if a windsurfing accident resulting in death.

I don't have all the details or all the necessary information just a
report from a very good friend a sailor has died in Aruba. Evidently they
were not paying attention to their forward progress and smashed into a
photography tower in the water and died on the way to the hospital.

Please keep your eyes and ears open and be prepared to take action in the
event of natural or manmade obstacles in the water.

Keep a safe distanse away from other sailors in the water.

When conditions change make the necessary equipment changes.

Hopefully we will have a great summer sailing and no more accidents to
report!

I might add to this that wearing a PFD will probably save your
life even if you have a most serious accident. I think that this fact is
understated by most advanced shredders who would rather not wear one.
