Pretty sketchy time for wind even in Ventana IMHO. I could be mistaken
but isn't it unreliable till late December - early January. I could be
wrong but last year there wasn't much win till late December.
I'll be going for a couple of months to San Carlos and to Ventana from
mid-February to mid -April, hopefully.
E-mail inquiries if you'd like any more info. Also, I did not stay at
Captain Kirk's but at the village camp.

I'm heading down via AeroCalifornia right before Thanksgiving and
staying through Dec 2. Staying at Kirk's Shred Palace in La Paz
&/or camping. Its been great for the past two years, hoping for
a repeat.
In the past at that time of year the campground at La Ventana has
been fairly sparse in terms of people -- you can pick a great
site though. Wind has generally been pretty good and fun (the
ultimate reason for going) great!
