Hifly wear

Hifly wear

I'm considering getting a new short board and am looking at Tiga
(polyethylene [?]), Hifly (polyethylene) and Bic (Ace-Tec).

What I'm interested in is other peoples experiences of how these
boards stand up to wear.

I have a long board (five years old), a John Hall 360 in Epoxy which,
apart from repairs due to the occasional hole still looks great, no
delamination, all the paint is fine on the deck (a bit of wear touched
up underneath).  Footstraps are fine (apart from squirrel damage).

I also have a Hifly Slalom 295 in polypropylene which after only two
years is looking much the worse for wear:  The transfers have mostly
all come off and the foot straps (neoprene) are all coming apart.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with Hifly?  Will the Tiga
suffer the same fate?  Will the Bic keeps its looks for longer (since
its a composite)?

Please email me your experiences and I will summarise.

I am reliably informed that the new Tigas are almost
indestructible. No personal experience mind you....
