Kansas....Ice gone....let's GO!

Now that "most" of the ice is gone from area lakes, and those spring winds
are beginning to haul...come on "people of the south wind" lets get "after
it"!

It felt like I was stealing, yesterday being the only "nut case" out
there.  Thank God for dry suit technology!  Winds were 20-25mph with some
higher gusts.  I wore my hood to keep my head warm for the inevitable
"dunkings"; feet were comfortable with wet boots, but I really should have
wore my diving gloves to keep my hands warm.

Today's forecast..... South winds at 20-30mph, high around 70.....LET'S
GO!!!!!

Well Joe,

On Fri at Cheney there were 4 of us out.  It was 3.9 to 4.4 out of the
north with 4 foot waves from 11 till 2, then it died off and I rigged a
6.0 to finish out the day.

On Sat it was 4.4 to 4.9 out of the south and there were approx 10 of us
out.

Didn't see Darrell, too busy renting tuxes.

My new Bare dry suit and new 5ml Okespors with hood and gloves made for a
warm enjoyable two days.  I'm setting her nursing sore forearms.
