I'm a tadge confused here.  Do you want to replace just the UJ, or the whole
mast foot and extension?  The mast foot to board connection is (as far as
I'm aware) the same across the Mistral range and history.  So you could buy
any mast foot with a Mistral board compatible end fitting and it would be
ok.  But, if you are trying to utilise your existing
extension..........you'll have to search high and low.

Mistral change the design of the UJ to mast extension adaptor almost yearly
(it seams). I first remember an alloy cup about 40 mm deep, by 40mm
diameter.  (Don't quote my dimensions) This design had two pip pins which
used to wear very quickly in the alloy cup.  So they changed it to a plastic
cup, but this just caused the pip pins to wear the mast extension.  Both the
alloy and plastic were really naff by design.  I think it is one of these
designs which you have.  They later changed the cup for a 15mm diameter by
80 mm pin, first made out of plastic, then out of SS steal.  This is a far
better design and will last a long time, and has the added bonus of being
compatible with many other manufacturers.

I am also stuck with a half dozen or so of the Alloy cup design, and I
wouldn't even insult you by giving you one for free.  They are totally
knackered!  I would strongly recommend that you go out and buy, new or
second hand, any quality mast foot (I favour North) complete with extension,
and fit a Mistral Board adaptor pin to it.

North Sports in Hood River, Oregon distributes Mistral Equipe and has
small parts.
If you can not find the number in the phone book, there is a list of
industry addresses at  www.awia.org
Stay in the lead,
Mac

If the mast track carriage is the same as the later Equipe (mine's a '94
version), then you've a choice: You can either use a mast base with a
standard Mistral pin - you can probably buy/order the pin from any major
dealer in the UK (Surfstore, Blue Chip....), or you can use any standard
deck plate by screwing it into the threaded hole on the carriage.
