As a shameless plug for the Gaastra 2007 Poison 5.8, I own one and
that is a rockin' sail. Very light in the hands for a "power" wave
sail a.k.a. big buy sail, not nearly as back hand heavy as my 2005
Poisons. Very nice upwind and down the line. Great for blasting as
it is very fast and controllable in chop, with less tendency to lift
the sailor off his or her toes in the gusts than in years past. I
think this year's Poison is the first that I could recommend to
lighter sailors. It's not terrible for freestyle either, as I made my
first ever duck tack on it, in no small part to the help of Mike
$375 is a deal. No, almost a steal. David, I'd grab that one so fast
if I didn't actually own it!
