Any good sail sales?

I've seen a few stores are having closeouts. Anybody know of places
with particularly good deals online?

I'm looking for a 6.0m sail (maybe a Retro) and a 100L board like a
Carve99.

Hi Endo!

When I purchased my Windwing Synthesis from 30Noeuds it turned out they
had a special boat show sale going on. Apparently they have this type
of sail twice a year.

When I purchased the sail everything they stocked was 20% off, even
stuff not in the store. They carry Starboards, Windwing etc.

I think they have a sale in the spring and in the fall. Best to check
with them (and they are in Quebec too).

2001 Northwaves, built to suit you,  will be heavily discounted by late
fall. www.northwavesails.com. They are one of THE hot sails in the Gorge,
and are stil made in Hood River.

Hi WARDOG

Does Simmer have a web address?
I've been putting together a web page of links to all the manufacturers, for
our club page.
If you have any web addresses of manufacturers ( boards, sails, fins, booms,
masts, etc.) that I might not be aware of this side of the pond, I would be
pleased to include them.

thanks

One of their team riders told me their stock (non-custom) "surf" sails  being
made at the Ezzy factory overseas?  They have been good sails for the Gorge.
Have you ridden the '01's? Are they actually out yet?

Northwave has been considering for a year or two having some of their
non-custom sails made overseas, just to meet demand and help keep prices
down. I have no idea how far along those plans are. No, I haven't ridden the
'01s yet. I'm just a customer, not a team rider. I'll probably buy a quiver
just because most of mine are '99s and next year's are cheap in the winter,
but I don't change sails every year. It's just not that important to me,
because I don't race for big bucks and my sails have always held up just
fine for a few years yet still sold for a good price.
