Sport Today

Can anyone give me info on windsurfing in the Charleston area?  I'll be
staying at Wild Dunes for a week at the end of May and I am bringing my
own board & gear.

I sailed there last year and had a couple of really good afternoons.  I
was also staying at Wild Dunes and hauled my gear across the golf course
to the beach.  The late PM thermals were what drove the wind when I was
there.  There is a sand bar about 300 yards off the beach where the larger
waves break.  Slight jellyfish problem but no big deal.

I think there is also windsurfing at Folly Beach (closer to Charleston)
and I saw people out in Charlseton Harbor.
