A few friends and I are going on a mountain biking trip to Lake Placid in
early September. We are all windsurfers and are bringing our 8'8" boards
and sails under 5.5, as it is supposed to be a mountain biking trip, but
we would all be pretty mad if we missed an epic day. What are the good
launches in the area? Is Lake Placid and/or Mirror Lake worth sailing?
Or should we stick to Lake Champlain? Please give the best launch with
the corresponding wind direction.

Lake Placid and Mirror Lake are both MT lakes, meaning narrow and
twisting. If you like constant wind shifts they may be the place.

Suggest Lake Champlain for any wind some North or South in it. West
wind may want to hit chazy lake.
