Hey, I'm tentatively planning a move to Burlington, Vermont next year
and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some info on:

1.Sailing Conditions and Seasons that it blows.

2.Sailing sites on Lake Champlain.

3.The Sailing Community in and around Burlington.

4.Any websites with info on any/all of the above info?

I currently live in the SF Bay area and enjoy the great summer winds and
I'm wondering how drastically my life will change if/when I make the
move.

Try http://www.inlandsea.com in Burlington, VT. Lake Champlain is a big
local body of water and there are lots of sailor in the area. Winter
might be the only limiting factor what with cold and ice, but they get
lots of good wind up there. My nephew lives in South Hero right near a
good launch and tells me that it is a popular spot.
I think you will find fewer shops but a longer season in Vermont.

Yeah, they sail the lake, I've sailed from the Hero Islands just north of the
Burlington area. Fall is your best season. Talk to Phil at In Land Sea
Windsurfing in Burlington...www.inlandsea.com/
