Can anyone provide some info an sailing at Clear Lake? I'm going to be
up there for a few days over the 4th of July and would appreciate any
info on the best launch sites, sail sizes, board sizes, etc, etc.

I found the best wind out in the middle of the upper lake after slogging out
of Soda Bay.  I ran across some other sailors on the far side, they launched
off the side of the road a mile or two north of the Narrows - I think the
area is called Glen Haven.  I have also seen lots of wind around Konocti
Harbor.

The water and air are very warm.   We sailed with silk t-shirts on for sun
protection.  At the time I used a 9'8" Seatrend and a 6.4 or 5.6 mostly.
Wind blows from north to south when it blows.  Avoid Lakeport - it dead up
there.   Don't forget your uphaul!
