For those interested and in the Chicago area: I am building the Winnipeg Board
published on this group several times. The wood is cut so the next step is to
assemble, cut the blade slots, shape the blades, final stuff.  Since we have
more snow fields than dependable ice locally, the first test will probably be
on a local snow field when we have one of our many windy winter days.

A side note, last year Madison hosted a world ice sailing event with a variety
of sailing methods. This year it is in Europe, but next year they might host a
kite skiing event.                                      Bob.
