Windsurf vs Windsurfing

Just a little note to point out or clear up a bit of confusion I have
noticed creeping in.
Windsurfing is the US magazine
Windsurf is the UK magazine
So if someone refers to an article in one or the other and it doesn't
sound familiar (you don't read them cover to cover?), it may be that
the *ing* was added or lost. Check the author's posting locality if
you can.
For us US types, you can subscribe to Windsurf (UK) airmail for about
the same price as it costs to buy it at a newstand, still not cheap,
but a good magazine.
And for Windsurfing, yes, please, an index. I nearly went crazy trying
to find an article on fins casually referred to in the Gear issue. Had to
go through lots of back issues. If the author of the quicky fin article
in the gear issue had even said what year the earlier article was in, it
would have been helpful (but since there is no index, he probably didn't
even know!  ;-}      )
I'll volunteer to index something, hey, what about fins articles?

I checked thefin article in the March issue and found
one reference to a past article.  It came at the top of
the box on page 89:  "We ran an article in June 1993..."
Was there another reference to a past article?  The
editors may have felt that they needed to mention
where to find it only once.
