Formula, RX1-10.6, Fiberspar Boom Fully Extended..that ok?

I was sailing my Formula with a 10.6 RX-1 today. Had the boom on the last
possible adjustment groove(fully extended).  Is that gonna break it, or is that
how everyone is sailing them?
After some good wind last Thursday and Friday, finally rigged the big sail and
planed in stuff I had never planed in before. It tractors right up to a pretty
decent speed. Any breeze at all keeps you going, pretty cool. Of course when
the breeze picked up a bit, I would have been much faster on a 9.3. But, the
sail was well mannered, and easy to drive. The Formula points like crazy even
when just oozing along on a plane. I was on the stock fin.
But the boom adjusted all the way out gives me some concern. Of course,
Fiberspar wouldn't have allowed for that much adjustment
if it wasn't all useable, I suppose. The extensions just looked like they were
out of alignment with the main tubes, sort of droopy. Anyone sail this combo?

Hey Dave,
Fiberspar makes a 58cm replacement boom end for larger sails. It will
give you 10cm more than what you are using now. This will give you more
range with an adjustable outhaul, as well as the safety of not being
extended out all the way. A little pricey, but all carbon.

Thanks Robert.

I am going to pick one of those up. Didn't know  they offered one.
