I've had an offer to purchase an '90 9'2" O' Brien Epoxy, 105 l board and
I have been trying to find information about it.  I always thought
O'Brien only made poly boards.

Currently I sail a 10' 6" Hi-Fly "big-pig" of a board.  I sail in 5.5 -
4.4 conditions in 3-4 foot swells in Nitinat Lake on Vancouver Island.  I
just learned how to waterstart (Yippee!) and I land about 25% of my
gybes, (but very, very shakily and with no style whatsoever).  I am 160
lbs and looking for a forgiving short-board.  Does the O'Brien fit the
bill?

Also, what are the advantages/disadvantages of an epoxy board?

What places do I look for delamination?

I heard that if the previous owner liked "big" air, you should look round
the footstraps.  Is this true?

YES - and look at the underside below the footpads too, on my boards
its not the heel dents that have finally forced repairs, its the
delaminations on the bottom below my feet.
