Welcome to the online registration site of The Black
Dog Windsurfing Pro-Am. This event is in its 5th
year. This event has a reputation of being one of the
most well run and atmosphere friendly events in the
country.Taking place on the island of Martha's
Vineyard the event site feels the effects of the
region's famous sou'west sea breezes. The event was
founded by Jamie Douglas in an attempt to promote
windsurfing both locally and nationally. The event
includes both racing for professionals and amateurs
alike as well as shoreside beginner clinics for those
who have never tried the sport before. These beginner
clinics are called "Splash Class" clinics. Racing is
spectator orientated and is announced play by play
over the PA system. The event site is great for our
sponsors as it is a high visibility site.

This is a Production Formula 3-1 event. Production
boards and 3 sails only. There is a 8knot wind
minimum in the pro fleet. There is a 25 knot wind
maximum in all fleets. Regular Formula class rules
will be in effect concerning boards and fins.
