JP wave 260 or F2 wave 256?

JP wave 260 or F2 wave 256?

Post by Huug de Surfe » Fri, 25 Feb 2000 04:00:00

I'm thinking about buying a new waveboard, and got my eye on the F2wave 256
and the JP wave 260. The F2 is a bit cheaper, but I think the JP is stronger
and stiffer. It also has a cool bottom design.
Has anyone sailed one or both of these boards  and can give me some advice?
Greetings Hugo

The F2 256 is a heavier board with large seems along the sides.
Its a good light air wave board (wide in the nose) and is very
durable because its not a pure eps epoxy board.

JP wave 260 or F2 wave 256?

JP all the way - fast due to channels and quick to plane and grips the wave
like spiderman when you wave ride. Lighter and easier to jump and built much
better than the seamed F2 which always seems to come apart.
F2 is basically a slalom board (long flat section) with about 8mm of tail
kick whereas JP has constant rocker and is forgiving in nearly all
conditions.

SO JP all the way.
