Shoreline Park (Mountain View, CA) info needed

I will be making a road trip down to the south bay (CA) this weekend.  I plan
to sail at Shoreline on Sunday (wind gods permitting).  Can anyone tell
me if dogs are allowed at Shoreline?

Thanks!

Shoreline has a sign at the gate that sez: "No Domestic Animals."

Besides, if you are going to sail, who will watch the dog?  (just to
be SURE it stay off other peoples rigs!)

The dog would be on a leash, tied to a tree or some other shady spot.
Sheez!  Sounds like you don't have much experience with responsible
pet owners...

Ouch, that did read a bit harsher than I intended.  Sorry.

Actually, it's not that I haven't had experience with responsible pet
owners, it's just that I remember the irresponsible ones so much
longer...

Again, sorry.
