by season in a long, long time? I know Rio has had a good year, but places
like Coyote and 3rd Avenue just don't seem to have it this year. I
remember watching the weather every day last summer and seeing the off-shore
buoys report wind speeds of between 18-26 knots almost every day. The
speeds at Coyote would pick up to match the off-shore buoy readings in
the afternoon. This year I'm seeing readings of 10-22 knots, and I can't
remember a day when Coyote was really, really good for over a month now
(of course I don't go there every day, but I do check the airport
and off-shore buoys every day.)
What gives? Is this the result of Mount Pinatubo (sp?)?
