Swap Calender:
Columbus Day and
Canadian Thanksgiving--
October 12th through 14th
8 am 'til it gets windy: bring your stuff to
our parking lot, hang out, shoot the breeze,
try and sell your gear and check out our
shop specials while you're here.
Consignment:
Yes, we are still very much into the
consignment business. We now have a
computerized customer data base to better
serve our consignees and make it easier to
find specific data on this gear.We have
recently instituted a rating system for the
consignment boards and sails so that you
may determine from the tag the age and
condition of the consignment gear as it is
listed on the Net and in the store.Bring your
used gear, and we will help you price it to
sell.
Consignment Online:
Check out the current weekly listing of
consignment merchandise on our Hatteras
website. We will ship anywhere in the US
and Canada.
Consignment Policy:
105% Store credit when items sells
80% cash when item sells.
New to our system is a 500 day
consignment period for your equipment.
What this means is that if for some reason
your items have not sold in 500 days, we
will send you a postcard with a request to
either claim the item or let us dispose of it.
Trade-Ins:
Bring your old stuff, if it is still in sailing
shape, and we will credit its value against
the purchase of new or used store
merchandise, this includes consignment
items.
