This is in response to a bunch of mail order questions posted.
_Windsurfing By Mail_ is probably one of the best mail order places around.
There prices are reasonable, but what I liked most about WBM is the
delivery time.  I ordered a wetsuit at normal shipping speed (I think it
must have been UPS).  It arrived within five days.  Plus they have an
express shipping option.  The operators are really helpful, and they
continue to send updated catalogs with request.  I don't know the toll free
number off hand, but you can find it in any basic windsurfing mag.  I don't
have any experience in getting big stuff shipped, so I'm not sure if you'd
get a hassle for that.

I agree. I just bought a 1988 mistral equipe complete for under 1k. They
delivered it in three days! They used Burlington Express for the equipe.
I also got some small stuff from them that was delivered via UPS. I like
their prices and their curteous staff. Sailways is another good place. They
have shops relatively close to us here in NJ (ie NY, CT). The numbers are:

Windsurfing by MAIL 1-800-THE SURF (843-7873)

Sailways - 1-800-544-WIND (9463)

BTW, there is a small craft advisory for the NJ coastal waters >20 knots!!
I guess I'll get sick later today and head home to bed, yea thats the ticket!

I ordered and received a board, a mast, two booms, a sail, a drysuit, and
sundy other little necessities from Windsurfing by Mail.  The WBM staffer on
the phone helped me select the correct components to all go together.  The
entire package was shipped by truck, and arrived on the promised day.  I got
lots of excellent advice, good prices, and excellent service.
