by Weather Channel, Intellicast, DTN an others publish 'Current Surface' maps
several times a day but what is done with the outdated map. Are these saved
somewhere?
These maps would be useful in prognosticating - comparing local of fronts,
Highs, and Lows to the wind conditions at that time. Archived wind data is
available from a number of different sources.
Has anyone developed a script that would automatically download and save the
current surface map at regular intervals?
