What's the best stick for wavesailing, at the moment I use epoxy for its
impact resistance, general durability and cheapness. How noticeable is
the performance difference (also when rotating) in using a carbon mast
for wavesailing?
I've got a 5.6 4.8 and 4.1 all rig on an exel 465 imcs25.
Any comments appreciated, apologies if this has been covered before!

Borrow a carbon wave mast. Make one tight jibe, one dry waterstart, and
one hard jam off the lip.
You'll sell yer dawg to buy a lighter mast.

Use a north stick like space tech xc 40 or space tech xc 20,
it have different top for different sails lenght.
is very light and solid.

As it has been said, i also use North Sails Sticks Space Tech XC40 and/or XC20 with
IMCS 25 for 4,60m length.
However the main thing to know is what is your weight and height, then the stiffness
and the weight of your rig will be easier to determine.
Carbon stuff are really becoming robust enough to get into european wavesailing conditions.
