Any UK windsurfers?

Are there any UK windsurfers out there?  Especially North Scotland,
Aberdeen, Elgin, Inverness?
Drop me a line and let me know I am not alone!

Is there a UK anymore?  Perhaps you should ask for Scottish Windsurfers.

You're not alone! I monitor this group quite often and occasionally post.
I live in Kingston-on-Thames and sail Queen Mary Reservoir, West Wittering
and various other south coast spots. Relatively new to windsurfing (three
years), I sail a Fanatic Snake 335 and a F2 Xantos 295 II with sails 4.5 to
6.4. I'm off to Moon Beach for a fortnight next week, so hope to crack the
waterstart (I'm 50% there already)  and move onto smaller boards.
Regards, John Warburton.

Waterstarts, I learn't after having windsurfed for 1yr. It was quite
simple really get yourself in a situation where its just to windy to
uphaul and your knacked and just do what you've read in a book. ie get
the mast / luff a 90degrees with wind direction with board pointing up
wind get under that sail and the rest should cut in automatically. ie just
enough wind to clear sail from water back foot on board and the rest
follows through.

When in difficulty ie v  strong wind all of a sudden and your arms are
knacked it becomes kind of instinctive.

Yup, I'm just moving to Glasgow - had my first sail at Lochwinnoch on
bank holiday Monday.  Looking forward to many happy days sailing all
over Scotland.

I'd love to hear about sailing spots around Inverness - something better
to do while on fishing holidays with the in-laws!
